Dr. Anna Krishna is board certified in endocrinology and internal medicine. She moved to Georgia in 2024. Prior to her move she was living and practicing as an endocrinologist in Richmond, Virginia.
Dr. Krishna grew up in Toronto, Canada. She received a Bachelor of Science degree from McMaster University in Hamilton, Canada. She is a graduate of SABA School of Medicine in the Netherlands-Antilles. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Bridgeport hospital-Yale New Haven, Bridgeport, Connecticut and fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism at Baylor Scott & White Hospital, Temple, Texas.
Dr. Krishna enjoys treating all types of endocrine issues that encompasses diabetes, thyroid disorders and metabolic syndrome. She is very compassionate towards her patients and tries to provide individualized, patient-centered care while using the most up-to-date evidence based treatment modalities. Her care philosophy is one of expertise and compassion. She values empowering patients and developing a two way dialogue and a relationship of trust and partnered care. She likes to focus on whole health and improving quality of life.
When not practicing medicine, she loves to spend time with her family and reading.
