Rodrigo Valderrama, MD

Dr. Rodrigo Valderrama will begin seeing patients in our Lawrenceville office on June 1, 2026.

Dr. Rodrigo Valderrama is a board-certified endocrinologist specializing in internal medicine and endocrinology. He has joined Diabetes and Endocrinology Clinic of Georgia where he provides comprehensive, patient-centered care for a wide range of hormonal and metabolic conditions.

Dr. Valderrama treats conditions including diabetes, thyroid disorders (hyperthyroidism and hypothyroidism), thyroid cancer, pituitary, parathyroid and adrenal disorders. He is dedicated to helping patients better understand their conditions and develop personalized treatment plans to support long-term health and well-being.

Dr. Valderrama earned his medical degree from the Universidad Nacional de Colombia in Bogotá, Colombia. He completed his internal medicine residency at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, and completed a fellowship in endocrinology, metabolism, and diabetes at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.

Dr. Valderrama has been practicing since 2008 and is excited to bring his experience and compassionate approach to patient care to the metro-Atlanta community.
